Digital Connexion, a joint venture between Reliance Industries, Brookfield Asset Management, and Digital Realty, has pledged $11 billion to develop AI-native data centers in southern India by 2030. The project includes a 1-gigawatt campus in Visakhapatnam, spanning 400 acres, specifically designed for AI workloads. This MOVE underscores India's growing role in global AI infrastructure.

The venture already operates a Chennai campus and is building a 40-megawatt facility in Mumbai. The Visakhapatnam project marks a significant expansion, positioning Digital Connexion as a key player in India's data center boom. Tech giants are increasingly investing in India, betting on its potential as a critical hub for AI and machine learning infrastructure.
